The true PAIN.
Heartache is painful but giving birth to a child is the most painful one and I consider it as a TRUE pain.
When I was on your shoe, I ask my OB "WHAT ARE THE SIGNS OF LABOR AND WHEN IS THE TIME I SHOULD BE RUSH IN THE HOSPITAL?"
She mentioned, "Each women experiences were different however the common signs are:
1. Baby DROPS - meaning your baby now rest in your lower pelvis
2. Cervix Dilated - you will know na nag dilate (open) na cervix pag nag conduct na yung OB ninyo ng internal exam (IE - medyo masakit to kasi echecheck nila kung bukas na cervix at kung gaano ka wide). This will dilate up to 10 cm.
3. You have diarrhea
4. Lot of Discharge - tinutukoy ko na discharge ay yung may mucus miced with blood. Some women has a pinkish discharge my doctor called it as "blood show".
But don't be deceive kasi may dalawang kinds ang contraction:

In my case, I been rush twice in the hospital kasi akala ko nagaactive labor na ako dahil sa Braxton Hicks Contraction na yan! (pa-uso kainis), pero my cervix still on 3cm.
After those false alarms, Contraction happened and the interval is now around 5 minutes but I ignored it thinking that it was just a Braxton Hicks Contraction. I was able to take a bath and was dishes while ignoring the contractions. Until the moment comes that I could no longer hold the pain and was being rushed in the hospital again and that was the most painful moment why? because I ride a tricycle on the way to the hospital and it quite a bumpy road. We can't wait to book either taxi or grab because I have the feeling our baby will comeout! No should be wasted.

THE WAITING TIME AND ALL THE PAIN ARE ALL WORTH IT. Hearing you cry by the moment you came out is the happiest feeling ever!
WELCOME TO THE WORLD OUR BABY ATHENA!
