After giving birth to my precious baby-ATHENA, the joy I feel is immeasurable. Yet, there were times that you'll be overwhelmed "yung super OA na" you will find yourself crying - feeling mo you're ALONE, TIRED, NOT LOVED, INSECURE--- about your body figure to be exact and etc., momshieeee that moment akala ko nabaliw na ako. I even ask myself "AM I CRAZY?" hahahaha. And If your in the same stage then I'm telling you "MOMSHEE you are normal po, hindi ka po nababaliw at hindi ka nag-iisa."
That is what they called Postpartum "baby blues" in which most of momshies had experience after childbirth, and that was so ME as I mentioned my OA MOMENTs above.
Commonly it includes mood swings, crying spells, anxiety and difficulty sleeping. Baby blues typically begin within the first two to three days after delivery, and may last for up to two weeks.
Postpartum depression (PPD) which is a complex mix of physical, emotional, and behavioral changes that happen in a woman after giving birth. According to the DSM-5, a manual used to diagnose mental disorders, PPD is a form of major depression that has its onset within four weeks after delivery.
